Last year, Google announced a new feature called Family Bell that allowed users to configure bell reminders. The idea was that parents could configure these reminders to announce when tasks are needed, as reminding their child to prepare for an online class. The company is back with an update of the function that is on your SMART HUB NEST HUB screen.
In an announcement today, Google revealed that it will expand the Family Bell so that you can also cancel smartphones, which makes it more useful for everyone at home. With this new capacity you will also come a useful feature for parents who have school-age children and an intelligent HUB NID screen.
The custom bells will be available to activate a checklist that appears in the NIDO Center. An example of how this can be used, Google provided this: a morning verification list so children make sure they are prepared for school correctly. Each task marked be accompanied by funny sounds and animations.
The checklist can also be used for other things, of course, as a list of tasks or things before going to bed after arriving at school home. Also Google also has something for adults, with the company that says in a blog publication that another feature is incoming.
With this next function, users will be able to trigger a morning routine when dismissing their alarm, such as playing news, showing climate and similar tasks. This ability will be enabled by adding “Discard an alarm” as a routine. Check out the Google ad for other features of Justio on time for school.
