After delaying the iPhone 12 last year due to the pandemic, Apple will present the iPhone 13 on time by 2021. In fact, we are probably probably just over a month since the ad, with rumors that indicate a launch event of 14 September. Meanwhile, the leaks continue to come out, with the ultimate of coming from Bloomberg. According to the report, Apple’s iPhone 13 will have at least three main camera updates, in addition to a smaller notch and a faster processor.
IPhone 13 new camera features revealed
Apple will introduce a video version of the portrait mode on the iPhone 13. The portrait mode debuted on the iPhone 7 Plus in 2016 and has been a stapling since then. The camera mode outfits the background of the photo, putting the subject in a more acute approach. On the iPhone 13, it will be possible to replicate this effect on the videos. In Apple, the function is called cinematographic video. As with the photos, the owners of iPhone can adjust the blur after recording a video, since the depth sensor creates the effect.
The second new feature is PRORS VIDEO. With an iPhone 13, users can capture the video in even greater quality, which will give them more options while it is edited. As Bloomberg points out, the PRORSE format is used by professional film editors, and file sizes are often massive due to quality. Pros may be exclusive to Pro models, as was the case of ProRaw last year.
Finally, Bloomberg says that IPHONE 13 owners will have more control over the appearance of colors and the most outstanding aspects in the photos. There will be several styles. One shows colors at a warmer or colder temperature while white ones remain neutral. Another will add deeper shadows and more contrast for dramatic photos. A third style, more balanced will be “to show shadows and true colors to life with a brighter appearance.” They can sound like filters, but as Bloomberg explains, there is a difference. A style applies changes in individual objects and people instead of all the photo.
Other specifications and features filtered
In addition to spoiling a lot of iPhone 13 camera functions, the Bloomberg report confirmed recent rumors about the new phone. As other leaks have been pointed, the iPhone 13 series will be practically identical to the iPhone 12 series. There will be an iPhone 13 mini 5.4 inches, an iPhone 13 of 6.1 inches, an iPhone 13 Pro 6.1 inches, and an iPhone 13 Pro Max of 6.7 inches. The designs will be similar, although Apple cringed the notch, and will reorganize the rear cameras. Bloomberg also reports that the screen will have a higher update rate and that iPhone 13 models will include fast A15 processors.
